ibiLive allows a user to see or check things out remotely as if they were there themselves, with the help of available local users who get paid to help with service requests. It works as 2 apps in one: 1 – REQUEST A SERVICE (FREE TRIAL) - You can use it as a customer by making INSTANT or TIMED requests to get something done remotely via a live feed, where you can give directions to your operator in real time and see things as if you were there. The aim is to establish a virtual presence in a location of interest without having to go there yourself, thus saving time and money. Registered users who are already there will provide the service.2 – MAKE MONEY FROM YOUR PHONE - You can also use it as a way to monetize your time by becoming a Peer or a Pro operator: a customer may be interested to see something live from your current location. You can go from Customer to Operator mode by simply switching a toggle in the side menu. Earn a higher fee as Pro operator once you have gone through our vetting process. There are 2 types or Operators: Professional (ibiPro) and Peer (ibiPeer). “ibiPro” are self-employed individuals who use the app to provide a professional service throughout the day. They have been selected individually, they have gone through a reference process and a background check. They are discreet and trustworthy. They normally work for other businesses as well and they are constantly travelling around town. They can provide a delivery service if needed.“ibiPeer” operators are any users or customers of the app who have decided to receive and accept requests to provide a service with a live stream from their current location, for example: check a beach out, a hotel, an art gallery, a commercial exhibition, the line at a museum, etc.
How it works (Customer mode):Choose a location and see if there are available operators on the map. Select and INSTANT or a TIMED request. The latter can be valid for 1, 2, 3 or 6 hours from the time of booking. Give a short description of the service (e.g. go to flower shop XYZ and show me the selection of flowers), and any follow on service (e.g. deliver flowers to certain address)Send the request and wait for it to be acceptedIn case of timed requests, when an Operator accepts, you have to confirm weather you still want the service done before it can start. When live feed starts, give him further directions in real timeYou can pause or end the live feed anytimeGive feedback on the operator or register him/her as a favourite in your personalised list
You can choose to be an operator and receive requests by switching toggle in the side menu to the right, at anytime.
